One week on a Disney Cruise,
7 buffet breakfasts of oatmeal and fruit,
7 buffet lunches of...whatever looked good
and
7 served dinners including appetizer, entre and desert!

I've been home for exactly 4 days so...

But it was sooo much fun!

How to fold a fitted sheet

How to fold a sheet and other fabulous ideas!

It was my job to fold the laundry when I was growing up,
you could bounce a penny off my bed cause I made a mean bed.  But...
it took me years to fold a fitted sheet the same way each time.
Here are the instructions...
in living color.

This...

was almost a spiritual experience when I saw it.
Look how neat and tidy all looks!
Fold your sheets (nicely of course) then store them in the pillowcase!!
Where have you been all my life!

My dear friend Debbie sent me a plethora of Martha Stewart'esq (if I may) ideas
that I just had to share with you!

Hull a strawberry with a straw,  just push it up through from the bottom and voila.

Is this cute or what,
just mold cookie dough OVER the muffin pan and bake to make a cookie cup.

No more brown apples in your lunch, tie it with a rubber band after it's been cut,
air can't get to the inside now.

While visiting my kids and their spouses last weekend
I was introduced to campaign furniture.

It's so exotic with the brass fixings.  Jenny shows you how to campaign
your own furniture here at her blog.  This chest reminds me of something I would see
in an old Charlie Chan movie on a Saturday morning.
Thanks Ashley for the great idea, you are full of wonderful crafty ideas!

So we had a wedding!

It was wonderful
my family came from Canada
you helped me so much.
Thank you family!
I was so busy I only took a few pictures but here's what I have.

Presenting Mr. and Mrs. Wilcken, aren't they cute!

  In-N-Out burgers for the guests
and donuts and Dairy Queen Dilly Bars too!

Cute Delaney and Lindsay put these stickers on the (rental) car,
luckily they peeled right off.
Shhhhh it was a secret, don't tell.

We're having a wedding around here!

And I've been very busy!
More to follow, if you're interested that is.

Helloooo, it's me!  I've been so busy, doing what I don't know
but I certainly haven't been blogging.

I wander through other peoples blogs and I found so many things I like.
Here are a few...

Want to make a new bedskirt for my spare room, thanks
Thatsmyletter for the tutorial.

I love how she color coded her children's books, and how she tells us how her little one carefully chooses the same book each time.

This Vintage Prairie Style cabinet reminds me of all the furniture in my garage
waiting for a coat of paint (and it's cute besides).

My daughter is getting married in September so today we were talking about making her wedding cake.
This cake from Brown Paper Packages reminds me that she wants vanilla and I want coconut all over the top mmmmm!

I haven't seen this in years, colorful layered jello.  I might need to make some tomorrow!
Check it out at The Funky Polkadot Giraffe.

And I've found a wonderful blog that did all the work for me this weekend.

Thank you Spiritually Speaking for your ever so wonderful printables
from General Conference and other uplifting quotes.

A little snack!

I needed something for my Young Women to snack on tonight and here it is,
 Brownie Bites from Kiki Creates.
(they're baking as we speak read mmmmmm!)

Grrrr!

I've been feeling a little... I don't know how or if I should explain this.
I have so many wonderful blogs I like to visit,
I collect wonderful crafts and treat ideas that I store away just for me.
Now all my fun ideas and such are out there for everyone to get on
Pinterest
 before I do!

They've all been seen before I can surprise someone with a little something I created.
Sad but true!
So you see, I don't know if I should have explained or admitted that,
but I'm sure you still love me!

So here you go, take this and made it yourself!

Thanks Whipperberry for the recipe.

Easter treats

Here's a cute Easter chocolate bar wrapper that I will be printing many of from
Anything but Perfect.

You can't possibly live without Eighteen25's subway art in true Easter fashion.

I've been holding onto this one for a while, homemade marshmallow eggs.

And some bunny bait from my favorite blogger at Kiki Creates.

These look so fabulous

When I saw these on one of my new favorite blogs Brown Paper Packages
I had to share with you. I haven't made them yet but p-llllllease...you know I will!

Chocolate Caramel Bars

Even the way she describes them makes me want to bathe in them!
Okay, that was a little weird
but I"ve been surviving doing the "no sugar"(okay maybe a little here and there) thing lately, and these just sound and look so good!

Some storage ideas...!

The weather is warming up again which makes me want to tidy up...all over my house.  Recently I installed shelves on the inside of my pantry door for my spices,
I am feeling so clever.  Here are a few idea that look promising.

What a novel idea from Casa Sugar, the shoes are hanging on crown moulding and also become artwork on the walls.

Here's a super cute ribbon storage made from aluminum rain gutters from Martha Stewart.

Here at Menns 4 Moms she makes her own chalkboard labels and uses a chalk pen to write with, who knew!

If you are like me you have an uncontrollable collection of cup cake liners,
here's a fab way to tame the beast. Check out Tidy Mom.

Best of all I found this chart at Design Finch to organize your weekly menus!  Check!

My to do list of crafts...

First of all, thank you Kalle for showing me this batik idea.
We're going to make homemade t-shirts with our Young Women using this easy technique and kids glue.  Have a peek here to see how to do it.

I'm going to make a few of these sun jars for girls camp in June.
I've seen lots online, but I think I'll try using vinyl lettering to personalize mine (and use my new Silhouette Cameo, so excited!).

What will I do with pom poms, who knows but I remember making them as a child,
this version looks a whole lot easier!  Follow her tutorial here.

This is a great idea for a little someone, they're magnetic too!
Go here to see her tutorial and here to download the doll and clothes.

Mmmmm, cake

This cake is the next thing on my list to make.

Doesn't it look delicious!  You can find the recipe at Urban Fruits, it calls for Maltesers
(those are the lovely round chocolates on the top of the cake)
which aren't to be confused with Whoppers.
You can get Maltesers at World Market, they're malted milk flavored balls covered in REAL milk chocolate.

I have eaten my way through an extra 5 pounds of holiday cheer (including a bag of Maltesers), do you know that 3500 calories make one pound...just sayin'.
So maybe I'll be making this cake and all I'll get to do is look at it!
